Some more character designs based on ideas from 2002. I tried to improve the proportions but the Sentinel on the right still looks a bit bulky. On the left I tried a silver version for the Commander's armor, but think I'll try a black one too.

In the beginning I thought of the Emperor more like a viking or saxon. Later the celtic elements turned into a gothic look which seemed to suit the all-over atmosphere of the story much better. (see below)

This is a very early design for the Emperor, leader of a tribe called Ilumani.
